The Kansas Expocentre is excited to break ground on a $48 million renovation project, that will provide a refreshing revitalization to Topeka's largest venue complex. Renovations will focus heavily on improving the patron experience. The two-year project is slated to start in May of 2019, with some exciting improvements and additions to Domer Arena, Landon Arena, and Exhibition Hall.
You will soon see extensive renovations to the Domer Arena Equine and Livestock facility, including new stalls and panels, concessions, LED lighting, bleacher and bathroom upgrades, etc.
In Landon, you will see brand new seating, which is expected to be completed before the end of 2019. Plus, premium seating options, an end-zone bar, and additional suites will be added.
Exhibition Hall will be able to accommodate growing events, due to a nearly 40% expansion in floor space.
To follow, we can look forward to new concession stands and beer gardens, escalators, a grand lobby, and new digital arena signage.
